Delete your DinkHub account
Last updated 15 September 2026
DinkHub is developed by Lloyd Agas. You can delete your account and its data yourself, from inside the app, at any time. You do not need to contact us.
How to delete your account
- Open DinkHub and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Type your password to confirm. This step exists so that nobody else can delete your account from an unlocked phone.
Deletion happens immediately. It cannot be undone, and we cannot restore an account once it has been deleted.
If you own a club
The app will refuse to delete your account while you still own a club, and will name the clubs concerned. This is deliberate: deleting a club owner would delete the whole club along with every member's events, results and history. Transfer ownership to another member, or delete the club, and then delete your account.
If you have DinkHub staff access
The app will also refuse to delete your account while you hold DinkHub staff access, and will tell you so. Email privacy@dinkhub.co.uk and we will remove that access first, after which you can delete your account yourself.
What is deleted
- Your profile: your name, the name you are known as, email address, mobile number, gender, town or city, country, profile photo and bio, and the record of your confirmation that you are 18 or over.
- Your club memberships.
- Your event signups and waitlist places.
- Your match participation and results, and your internal skill ratings.
- Your notifications, notification preferences and push notification tokens.
- Any fixed doubles pairings you were part of.
- Your DUPR connection: your DUPR ID, your DUPR ratings, your DUPR subscription entitlements, and the access and refresh tokens that let our server read them.
What is kept, with your name removed
A small amount of information stays so that clubs you were part of are not damaged by your leaving. In each case the link to you is removed, so it is no longer personal information about you:
- Events you organised remain, so the club keeps its history. The organiser field is emptied.
- Announcements you posted remain, with the author field emptied.
- Guest players you added remain on their events, with the record of who added them emptied.
- If you held staff access, the record of administrative actions you took remains: what was done, to what, and when. The record of who did it is emptied.
Matches already sent to DUPR
If you connected DUPR and played in sessions marked as DUPR rated, those match results were sent to DUPR and count towards your official DUPR rating. Deleting your DinkHub account does not delete them from DUPR, in the same way that deleting a scorecard would not undo a game. They are held by DUPR under DUPR’s own policy. To remove or correct data held by DUPR, contact DUPR directly.
Crash reports
If the app has ever crashed for you, a diagnostic report may have been sent to Sentry, our error reporting provider. These reports are configured not to include personally identifying information, are stored in the European Union, and are automatically discarded after Sentry's retention period. They are not linked to your account and are not affected by deleting it.
Backups
Deleted data may persist in encrypted database backups for a short period before those backups expire. It is not accessible through the app or to other members during that time.
Questions
If you cannot access the app to delete your account, or you want to check that a deletion has completed, email support@dinkhub.co.uk from the address on the account and we will action it for you.
