Privacy Policy

This policy explains what DinkHub collects and how it is used.

Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, username, email address, and the profile details you provide (date of birth, gender, mobile number, town/city, country, a profile photo, an optional bio, and an optional DUPR ID). As you use the app we store your club memberships, event participation, match results, and an internal per-club skill rating.

Club organisers can add guest players who do not have an account. For a guest we store only the name the organiser enters, so that they can appear on a team sheet and in results.

How we use it

We use your information to run your clubs and events: to show who is attending, generate fair games, record results, calculate internal ratings, and send you notifications about events, invitations, and waitlist offers. We do not sell your personal information.

What other members can see

Members of a club you join can see your name and profile photo. Your internal rating is private and never shown to other players. Your email and phone number are not shared with other members through the app.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, we register a device token to deliver push notifications. You can turn reminders off and manage preferences in Notification Settings, or disable notifications for the app in your device settings.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (Postgres, authentication, and file storage). Access is controlled by row-level security so members only see what they are permitted to.

Crash and error reporting

If the app crashes or hits an error we send a diagnostic report to Sentry so we can fix it. These reports contain technical information such as the error, the screen it happened on and the device model. They are stored in the European Union, and we have configured Sentry not to attach personally identifying information to them.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from Profile > Delete Account. If you own a club, you will be asked to transfer or delete it first.

Terms of Use

DinkHub helps clubs organise pickleball sessions and competitions. Use the app lawfully and respectfully. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you post and for your conduct with other members. Organisers are responsible for their events, including any fees, which are arranged directly between organisers and players. The app is provided "as is" without warranties, and internal ratings are estimates for fair matchmaking, not official ratings.
